About AofC
Our Agencies of Change initiative was created to harness the talent and drive of creative agencies to make the world a better place.
Agencies of Change is an initiative founded by Murmur Creative to bring together creative agencies and creative professionals to work toward social justice. We aim to affect positive change both inside and outside our industry by advocating for marginalized communities, supporting crucial causes, and creating space for important conversations through art and design. Our design initiatives include a quarterly Shirt Campaign and an annual Poster Show.
Shirt Campaign Initiative
Ongoing Campaign
Every quarter Murmur Creative partners with a BIPOC artist to promote their art and raise funds to support a nonprofit of their choosing. The artist creates the design and Murmur manages the campaign and promotion. After the campaign, shirt orders are fulfilled by Real Thread and a donation is submitted by Murmur. Each shirt design is sold for a limited time and at the end of the campaign, 100% of the shirt proceeds are donated to the featured nonprofit.

Poster Show Initiative
Murmur Creative choose a nonprofit to promote and raise money for at their annual Agencies of Change Design Week Portland Poster Show. Design Week Portland was a series of events hosted by local agencies and designers. The Poster Show is a part of our initiative, which aims to bring local branding agencies together in service of organizations and causes that do good in our communities. We work with artists and designers to create posters on a theme related to the featured nonprofit's mission. The Poster Show has been on pause since 2021 and we hope to revamp this initiative in the future.

2020 Poster Show
Our 2020 Poster Show took place on August 3 and the featured nonprofit is Raphael House of Portland. Raphael House provides life-saving shelter and wraparound support for survivors of domestic violence. Limited edition posters are on sale throughout August and all proceeds go to Raphael House.

2019 Poster Show
In April 2019, we had our first Agencies of Change event and were blown away by all the support from our sponsors, participants, and community. Together we were able to put on an amazing Poster Show during Design Week Portland and raise awareness for Trans Lifeline.
